BLEND program encourages families to participate in National Family Dinner Night Sept. 21

St. Cloud, Minn.- Research shows the more often kids eat dinner with their families the less likely they are to smoke, drink oruse drugs, and the more likely theyare to score high marks in school and eat healthier as young adults.

For this reason, BLEND (Better Living: Exercise and NutritionDaily) and its community partners are encouraging all families to participatein National Family Dinner Night Sunday, September 21. BLEND is making it easy andinexpensive by providing a healthy spaghetti dinner menu and partnering withCoborn's, Gold'n Plump and General Mills to provide these healthy food items ata reduced cost.
