BLEND program encourages families to participate in National Family Dinner Night Sept. 21

St. Cloud, Minn.- Research shows the more often kids eat dinner with their families the less likely they are to smoke, drink oruse drugs, and the more likely theyare to score high marks in school and eat healthier as young adults.

For this reason, BLEND (Better Living: Exercise and NutritionDaily) and its community partners are encouraging all families to participatein National Family Dinner Night Sunday, September 21. BLEND is making it easy andinexpensive by providing a healthy spaghetti dinner menu and partnering withCoborn's, Gold'n Plump and General Mills to provide these healthy food items ata reduced cost.

Todd Steinke - Dir. Of Development - CentraCare Health Foundation
Todd has been with the CentraCare Health Foundation since 2004 and currently serves as the director of development.

Todd has fiduciary oversight and stewardship responsibility for all Foundation funds, as well as lead staff responsibility for the Foundation Community Collaboration Committee and Grants Committee. Todd received his bachelor of science degree from Minnesota State University – Moorhead, MN.

Before coming to the CentraCare Health Foundation Todd was employed as the director of operations for Innovis Health and regional director of strategic services for Banner Health System. He has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
