BLEND program encourages families to participate in National Family Dinner Night Sept. 21

St. Cloud, Minn.- Research shows the more often kids eat dinner with their families the less likely they are to smoke, drink oruse drugs, and the more likely theyare to score high marks in school and eat healthier as young adults.

For this reason, BLEND (Better Living: Exercise and NutritionDaily) and its community partners are encouraging all families to participatein National Family Dinner Night Sunday, September 21. BLEND is making it easy andinexpensive by providing a healthy spaghetti dinner menu and partnering withCoborn's, Gold'n Plump and General Mills to provide these healthy food items ata reduced cost.

Jodi Rohe - BLEND Coordinator - CentraCare
Jodi Rohe is the Project Coordinator for BLEND with the CentraCare Health Foundation, having joined CentraCare Health System in October, 2004. She has 10 years of experience in the public health sector having previously served as:

• Project Coordinator- Central Minnesota Heart Center
• Public Health Coordinator- Stearns County Human Services
• Health Systems Manager- American Cancer Society
• Public Health Specialist – Morrison County Public Health

She received her undergraduate degree in Community Health and is finishing her M.S. degree at St. Cloud State University.

Jodi was born and raised in St. Cloud Minnesota. She’s an exercise enthusiast who enjoys running and chasing after her two children, McKenna (7) and Camron (3).
